ABOUT THIS ROLE
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
- Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
- Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations.
- Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or escalate to the management team.
- Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services and policies.
- Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
- Prepare your daily transactions record.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Some computer knowledge with ability to use MS Word and Excel.
- Cash handling experience is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- A valid work permit is a must.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Sedentary work as a sole team member for extended periods in a kiosk environment
- Frequent use of computer software and relevant hardware.
- Frequent face to face interaction with customers.
- Individuals may need to stand or sit as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- This position is predominantly sedentary. However, in some instances, you may be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Individuals may need to sit, stand, or bend as needed.
- Manual skills are required to operate computers, telephones, etc.

Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this role ranges from ($16.50 USD to $16.50USD). Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
