ABOUT THIS ROLE
This role is critical position within the organization and will be tasked with managing the Key Accounting and Finance projects. They will oversee and champion multiple initiatives at a time, and apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and suave to deliver project phases from discovery to launch. This position requires a person who can roll up their sleeves and make things happen. They’re industrious, communicate well, extremely thorough and organized, and have the drive to deliver cross-functional and globally executed projects in a fast-paced environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safeguard Accounting System Integrity
Ensure the accounting platform remains technically sound and functions as intended, even as new business requirements and enhancements are introduced. - Synchronize Accounting and Transactional System Enhancements
Coordinate accounting-related changes in tandem with broader improvements to transactional systems, fostering alignment across cross-functional technology teams. - Translate Business Requirements into Technical Deliverables
Interpret Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) from the Product Manager and develop comprehensive work breakdown structures to guide development, QA, and analytics teams. - Drive Project Planning and Delivery
Define and maintain clear, actionable project timelines for all accounting-related initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. - Validate and Refine Business Requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are complete, accurate, and technically feasible, serving as a bridge between business needs and technical execution. - Lead High-Level Production Issue Resolution
Provide oversight and initial triage for accounting-related production issues, acting as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team for in-depth troubleshooting.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years as a Project Manager or similar role.
- Work(ed) in the financial industry or with digital platforms (mobile, web).
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
- Results-oriented track record for monitoring and coordinating projects
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence).
