ABOUT THIS ROLE

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hands on, the Compliance Analyst performs ongoing checks to ensure the Compliance Program is aligned with processes, system and practices. This includes Agent Onboarding, Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, Agent Oversight, Risk Assessment, regulatory reporting and training.
• Provides timely feedback to the compliance management in areas which require further controls, system development or updates in policies and procedures.
• Adheres to the QA Program and achieves provided targets.
• Formalizes and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Recommends new leads and trends for potential improvements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all communications with AUSTRAC, sorting and categorizing communications, and ensuring timely response to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Assist in administrative duties related to regulatory processes, including tracking deadlines, preparing reports, and maintaining record keeping of relevant documentation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Mathematics, Economics or Business Administration Bachelor’s degree.
• Courses, certificate, or studies in Compliance related matters is preferred (CAMS, ICA or similar) is preferred.
• Minimum +2 years of experience in AML/CTF environment or Compliance Risk management.
• Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills are a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to follow-through with the task given.
• Well versed in Excel, Power BI and data analysis.
• High attention to detail.
