Responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the market share of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Corridor. You will recruit new agents for the MENA Diaspora and will be responsible for achieving the new Agent activation and new Agent transaction targets monthly.
- You will manage the entire sales process; identify prospects, cold call, face-to-face meetings, and conduct presentations.
- Subsequently, you will also manage the new agent selling cycle; submit applications accurately and on time, and provide all necessary information to successfully activate new agents.
- You’ll be responsible for installing new agent equipment, systems training, and branding the new agent location with point-of-sale material that complies with company policies and procedures.
- You will be responsible for ramping up new Agent transactions for the first 90 days.
- Provide solutions and develop strong relationships with new Agents.
- Execute marketing plans by participating in company and community events.
- Submit weekly activity reports with expansion efforts and competitor analysis,
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate solid financial and business acumen to demonstrate the value of the service proposition to the prospective new Agents.
- You have at least 2-3 years of successful outside new business development sales experience with a successful track record of B2B sales and opening new accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
- You have great interpersonal skills and are a persuasive negotiator with a proven ability to prospect, present, promote and sell products and services.
- Prior experience in the Money Service Business industry and field sales experience is a plus.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office 365 and other sales platforms, and have experience reporting and working with reports.
- Able to work on weekends as needed for business purposes.
- Ability to work from home and travel to assigned territory/region daily.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time as a driver in an automobile.
- Ability to visit businesses and work in tight places to install equipment.
